Waitsburg-Prescott sweeps Tri-Cities Prep

urg-Prescott baseball team swept away the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars, 23-5 and 18-4, here in a double header - pounding out 29 total hits.

"It was our best outing at the plate this season by far and we hit it really well," W-P coach Dustin Snedigar said. "We ran the bases well too. It was a good day."

W-P's Chris Manzano racked up five hits, including two doubles.

Zach Bartlow added four hits, including two doubles.

The Jaguars had a tough day on the mound, giving up 15 walks in game one alone.

"They (Tri-Cities) struggled quite a bit on the mound," Snedigar said. "They had a hard time finding the strike zone."

Snidegar was happy with the changes in the batting order made before this double header.

"We had contributions up and down the lineup which was nice to see," Snedigar said,
