Walla Walla's Jefferson Park Pond was recently stocked with catchable and jumbo-size trout.
A permit is not required but fishing is limited to only to youth ages 14 and younger. Adults are allowed to help bait a hook and remove the fish from the hook, but they cannot fish, cast the line or hold the pole for a child.
The daily limit is a total of five trout caught ¬?-- kept or released, according to Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations the city applies to the pond.
Fishing is permitted 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Boats or other floating devices are not allowed on the pond.
