COLLEGE PLACE -- From Friday to Sunday, College Place Village Seventh-day Adventist church will present "Journey to the Cross," 10 re-enacted scenes from the final week of Jesus's life. Tour guides will lead viewers through the scripture-narrated scenes located in various places on the church grounds and in the church.
"When I actually participate in scenes like this, I gain a greater understanding of the story. It means more to me than simply reading the story," said Sandy Wiebe, Children's ministry director, in a news release.
Tours will leave the church parking lot approximately every 20 minutes starting at 4 p.m. each day. The tour will take about an hour with the last tour leaving at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
