WALLA WALLA -- Whitman Dance Production, directed by Idalee Hutson-Fish, will present Intermezzo in evening of four dance works Friday and Saturday with additional choreography by Raffaele Exiana.
It will be Hutson-Fish's final production as a lecturer in dance for Whitman College.
Performances will be at 8 p.m. both nights at Cordiner Hall, 46 S. Park St.
The performance includes dances choreographed by Hutson-Fish, including Rising Angel, first choreographed in 1997; Into the Trees, a dance of nature, the forest and the hunt; and a dance of 24 dancers, weaving ballet with the score of Dvorak's "Serenade," played by the Whitman and Walla Walla Symphony Youth orchestras. Jeremy Mims will conduct.
Light Trap, choreographed by Raffaele Exiana, includes nine dancers in a minimalist environment of lighting designed by Nate Redford. Admission is free.
