An exhibition by Mari Jalbing, "Explorations: Works on Paper," opened Sunday at Whitman College, 345 Boyer Ave. The exhibit is placed on all three floors in Memorial Hall and will run through Sept. 1.
Jalbing has been associated with Whitman College for a number of years. She works mostly on paper, but also paints on board, wood and canvas. She uses tempera, watercolor, gouache, pastel and acrylics in her compositions.
A reception for Jalbing will be 4 p.m. May 4 at Memorial Hall, on the third floor.
