William A. Gunnyon, 47, 524 Liberty St., was sentenced March 27 on two counts violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The court dismissed four other counts. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $3,000 meth lab cleanup fee, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fee, 32 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for 72 days served, 32 months community custody. On March 23 Gunnyon pleaded guilty to unlawfully delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school bus route stop on Jan. 10 and unlawfully delivering methamphetamine on Jan. 14.
Tyler J. Walters, 25, 571 Ash St., was sentenced April 6 on one count fourth-degree assault. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $107 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, 360 days in the county jail with 337 days suspended, credit for 23 days served, 12 months probation. On April 6 Walters pleaded guilty to intentionally striking a person on Feb. 24.
