WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla FFA will host a F.A.R.M. (Forestry Agriculture and Resource Management) Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Walla Walla High School FFA barn.
As in previous years, parents are encouraged to bring their children so they can see and pet the farm animals at the barn. According to event organizers, there will be a horse, mini horses, chicks, chickens, lambs, sheep, donkeys and goats. Exhibits will also include a plywood cow that children can milk and a station where they can plant a tomato and learn how to take care of it.
Admission is free, but the FFA will also be taking donations for the Blue Mountain Humane Society.
