Leonard R. Carner, 96, went to meet his Lord on March 27, 2012. He was born Sept. 28, 1915, raised in Battleground, Wash. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.
His wife Vivia of 45 years preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife De, of 18 1/2 years; daughter, Connie Ayers of Albany, Ore.; son, Kenneth Carner of Aloha, Ore.; daughter, Beckie Harden of Yakima; and many cousins.
We all loved him very much. There will be a celebration of life at Fort Walla Walla on Sunday, May 20, 2012, from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
