Man arrested for indecent exposure, threatened police

COLLEGE PLACE - On Friday, police arrested a man for exposing himself to two women and threatening officers with a pry bar.

Officers with the College Place Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of SE Elm Street at 8:53 a.m. for a male who exposed himself to a female.

The suspect was spotted but eluded offers by jumping a number of backyard fences.

Then at 12:15 p.m. the same day, officers were called to the same area where a second female reported a male had exposed himself to her.

Officers surrounded the area, and the suspect hid in a tool shed.

According to officers, when they confronted the suspect, he brandished a pry bar in a threatening manner.

At gunpoint, the man was ordered to drop the pry bar and was arrested.

Cesar Ruiz, 27, address unknown, was arrested on investigation of two counts of indecent exposure, two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of resisting arrest and criminal trespassing.
