Touchet beats up elderly, 5-3


TOUCHET - The Touchet baseball team took the lead in the sixth inning, and didn't give it up, Saturday against the Touchet Alumni en route to a 5-3 victory over the elder squad.

"It was a really good, close game," Touchet coach Wayne Dickey said.

"We capitolized on some walks during the sixth inning pushing across the winning run," Dickey said.

Octavio Preciado had two RBIs in the fifth to tie the game. The Alums walked three batters and hit another to push across the winning run in the top of the sixth.

After the non-league counter, Touchet is now 2-5 overall.

The Indians face the alums Saturday at 11 a.m. in another single game.
