College Place school bond narrowly passing

A measure that would result in the city having its own high school is on track to pass.


COLLEGE PLACE - Voters tonight appear on track to pass a bond measure that would lead to the city having its own public high school.

With 3,358 votes counted, the measure was passing, 2,048 to 1,310. The passage rate stood at 61 percent tonight; a 60 percent supermajority is needed for passage.

The next ballot count will be Friday.
