COLLEGE PLACE - Blue Mountain Community College outhit the Walla Walla University softball team 18-1 and the Wolves gave up eight errors as BMCC routed the hometeam Wolves, 16-0, in five innings Tuesday.
WWU's Jaci Shankel recorded the lone hit for the Wolves.
BMCC's Paige Aldred led the way for the Timberwolves with a 3-for-4 day at the plate and five RBIs. Cassie Hernandez was 2-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs and a home run.
The loss drops WWU to 8-9 on the season.
The Wolves host Eastern Washington's club team for a doubleheader Friday at 3 p.m.
