Walla Walla Incumbent Perry Dozier will face off with Chris Blackman in the fall for Dozier's seat on the Walla Walla County commission. Barring a remarkable comeback in subsequent vote counts, former county Coroner Frank Brown was eliminated.
The vote total Tuesday night stood at 1,323 for Dozier, 738 for Blackman and 421 for Brown.
In a preview of November's race for one of the other seats on the commission, appointee Jim Johnson received 1,900 votes to Mark Spinks' 420.
Walla Walla County has 30,874 registered voters.
The next count is scheduled for Thursday.
