Innovative Seattle groove musician BluMeadows will play from 9 p.m.-midnight Friday at Sapolil Cellars, 15 E. Main St.

BlueMeadows is a descendant of the Mississippi Choctaw Nation and is a “magda vehu” or Black Indian. He discovered the magic of music through his voice and guitar, which he picked up at an early age and has been determined to follow an unbeaten path.

He entered the Seattle music scene as a musician who plays bass and guitar, sings, writes and accompanies other artists.

He performed throughout the Northwest with Dave Lewis, Pete Depoe and Red Bone. He moved to Los Angeles where he wrote, recorded and played with Liquid Jesus on MCA Records and performed with Grammy Award winner Bruce Hornsby.

BluMeadows has played with Branford Marsallis, Funkadelic guitarist Eddie Hazel, and Spacey T from Sound Barrier and later Fishbone.

The cover charge is $3. For more information, call 509-520-1273.
