Two trainers known for the Cardio Strength Bootcamp are offering some sweet sweat time in exchange for school supplies.
Marc Yonts and Scott Tibling will host their second annual “Push Ups for Pencils” workouts next week at the Sharpstein Elementary School playground.
Guests interested in checking out the 7 a.m. boot camp can drop in next Wednesday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 24. Admission is $5 worth of school supplies, which will be given to the Walla Walla School District to be used by students who need them.
Participants are in for metabolic-resistance-based workout that includes bodyweight exercises, TRX suspension trainers, sandbells, kettlebells, exercise ropes and medicine balls in an outdoor environment. The various activities can be modified to meet individual fitness levels, so no prior experience is necessary.
