BEND, Ore. — The Walla Walla Swim Club (WWSC) went to its last meet of the summer last weekend at the Juniper Swim and Fitness Center here.
The WWSC was the highest scoring team with less than 10 swimmers, having placed sixth out of 22 teams.
Individual winners for WWSC included Abby Crowley, Cheyenne Schoen and Jonathon Klem.
Crowley also won the 15-and-over women’s high point award, with 93 points.
In the indoor portion, Crowley won the 100 Free in 1:02.60, the 200 Back in 2:28.45, the 50 Free in 29.17, the 100 Back in 1:08.61 and the 200 Free in 2:15.78. She was also second in the 200 individual medley in 2:33.42 as she won the high-point award.
Outdoors, Crowley was second in the women’s 10-and-over 500 Free in 5:30.97.
Klem won the indoor men’s 15-and-over 200 Fly in 2:21.85, was second in the 200 Free in 2:07.34 and third in the 200 IM in 2:24.87.
Schoen won the indoor women’s 15-and-over 400 IM in 5:39.13. She was also third in the 100 Free in 1:04.17, the 100 Breast in 1:23.61, the 100 Fly in 1:12.41, the and the 200 Breast in 3:01.05.
Outdoors, Schoen was third in the women’s 10-and-over 500 Free in 5:33.22.
Also at the outdoor portion of the meet, Joshua Bumgarner was second in the men’s 15-and-over 200 Breast in 2:47.06.
Russell Skorina was second in the men’s 15-and-over 100 Breast in 1:14.95, and third in the 200 Fly in 2:42.25.
The meet finished off the summer season for WWSC. It resumes Sept. 4.
