WW County Sheriff

Fishood Park Boat Basin. Two attempted boat thefts and boat prowl reported.

CP Police

600 block of West Whitman Street. Purse reported stolen from vehicle.

200 block of North College Street. Purse reported stolen from vehicle.

Northeast Tremont Street. Vehicle prowl.

500 block of West Whitman Street. Purse reported stolen from vehicle.

400 block of West Whitman Street. Purse reported stolen from vehicle.

100 block of North Columbia Street. Vehicle prowl.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Highway 11, Milton-Freewater. Binoculars valued at $250 from vehicle.


WW Police

Ninth Avenue and Orchard Street, Tuesday. Vehicle versus bicycle collision; possible injuries to back, knee and elbow of bicyclist reported.


WW County Sheriff

Ray E. Avera, 50, 605 Military Street, Wednesday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence, and intimidating a public servant.

CP Police

Larry E. Hoy, Jr., 38, 852 Brickner Road, Wednesday. Charge: investigation of first-degree assault and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Christian Aid Center, 202 W. Birch St. House window broken.


WW Police

700 block of North 12th Avenue, Wednesday. Three gang members were arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly attempting to start a fight with another man at his home. Witnesses reported the altercation was a continuation of a fight that broke out the previous day.
