Walla Walla The owners of downtown Walla Walla’s gourmet grocery have officially made their move to Main Street.
Salumiere Cesario opened Thursday at its new location in the historic Seil Building, 12 E. Main St.
The grocery and dining spot known for its arrays of cheeses and meats, salt bar, olive oil bar and more moved from Second Avenue into the larger storefront previously occupied by Romanza. In the process, everything got bigger — from the cheese closet and charcuterie case to the patio seating and menu. The business continues to offer its vast selection of wine, beer and sake, too.
Owners Damon and Colby Burke said via Facebook the kitchen is still getting organized, but there’s plenty to eat.
Salumiere Cesario, a little more than 6 years old, operates 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit salumierecesario.com or follow its Facebook page.
