When presumptive presidential candidate Mitt Romney introduced Paul Ryan, his choice for vice presidential running mate, he described him with these words: “(A man of) integrity, seriousness and intellectual leadership, pointing out his refusal to demonize his opponents.”
Would that not be a welcome change of tenor from the campaign rhetoric we have heard up to this point?
