Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

1800 block of Plaza Way. Playstation 3 reported stolen from residence.

Dairy Queen, 1474 Plaza Way. Vehicle prowl; clutch assembly (in box) and 10 inch speaker reported stolen.

DeSales High School, 918 Sumach St. Broken windows, window blinds and door. Two arrested for investigation of second-degree burglary.

200 block of Tausick Way. Wii console, game and controller from residence.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Weis Road, Milton-Freewater. Fifty boxes of plums, valued at $700-800, reported stolen.


WW County Sheriff

800 block of Abbot Road, 2:33 p.m., Monday. Two vehicles: no injuries reported.

State Rout 124 near milepost 22, Monday. A tire and pallet reportedly fell off a flatbed pickup, causing roughly $4,050 damage to a boat and trailer towed by vehicle in the opposite lane. No injuries reported.


WW Police

Bo J. Donnelly, 19, 903 Stadium Drive, today. Charge: investigation of second degree burglary.

Timmothy J.D. Heikkenen, 18, 182 Kooskooskie Road, today. Charge: investigation of second degree burglary.

Columbia County Sheriff

600 block of Lower Hogeye Road, Waitsburg. Residential burglary.

600 block of South Touchet Road, Dayton. Possible mail theft reported.

600 block of South First St., Dayton. Cell phone reportedly stolen.

Fire, Ambulance runs

WW Fire Dept.

Alder and Provenance Loop, 8:51 p.m., Monday. Grass fire; no structures threatened. Unknown cause.

Columbia County Fire Dist. 3

Wooden Road, 2:49 a.m., today. Grass fire caused by lightning.


WW Police

Hood Park 592 Camp Circle, Burbank. Vehicle window broken.


WW County Sheriff

Ringhoff Road and Apple Lane, Burbank. Deputies spotted a man “car surfing” on a black Ford Explorer. The man fled when deputies conducted a traffic stop. The 25-year-old female driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance. The 31-year-old male passenger was cited for having an open can of beer.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Highway 339, Milton-Freewater. A concerned citizen spotted a suspicious looking white minivan with aluminum siding in the rear windows driving in his neighborhood. When the concerned citizen stopped the driver,the driver handed over a business card that read: “Management Consultant and Advisory Specialist, Phoenix Unlimited, Confident and Absolute Professionals, High Risk Security Agent.” The driver, according to the reporting party, then took off his shirt and said “that he likes to beat up several people.”
