Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 1100 block of University Street. Lawn chair from patio.
  • 1200 block of Dakota Street. Vehicle prowl reported.
  • 400 block of South Fourth Avenue. Vehicle prowl; small blanket reported stolen.
  • 400 block of South Wilbur Avenue. Two vehicles entered; nothing reported stolen.
  • 200 block of West Chestnut Street. A sink, step ladder, light fixtures and a toilet reported stolen.

WW County Sheriff

  • 8500 block of East Highway 12, Dixie. Tools, generator and CB radios reported stolen.

Umatilla County Sheriff

  • 1000 block of South Third Street, Dayton. Vehicle prowl: money stolen.
  • 1100 block of South Third Street, Dayton. Vehicle prowl: jewelry stolen.


WW Police

  • Ninth AVenue and Orchard Street, 9:42 p.m., Wednesday. A motorist turned right onto Orchard Street from the center lane of Ninth Avenue, instigating a rear=end collision and nearly clipping a Walla Walla Police Department patrol car in the outside lane. No injuries reported.


WW County Sheriff

  • Dearcie L. Abraham, 26, Pendleton, Wednesday. Charge: investigation of stolen property.


WW County Sheriff

  • South Hussey Street and Whitman Drive. Gang graffiti.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • Dayton High School, 614 S. Third St., Dayton. Two girls reportedly walked through wet cement, and then “inscribed male anatomy,” in the cement. District officials said the vandalism was caught before the cement dried, and was erased.
