Grace United Methodist pastors ‘office hours’ Monday

WALLA WALLA — The pastors of Grace United Methodist Church, the Rev. Linda Weistaner and Sonya Watts, will be at McDonald’s Restaurant, 2130 E. Isaacs Ave., at 10 a.m. on Monday for their informal “office hours.”

Anyone interested may join them for informal conversation about anything.

Look for the table with a Bible, a newspaper and a red rose.

Two Walla Walla Churches offer lunch two days a week

WALLA WALLA — Two area churches offer a soup lunch two days each week. The lunches are open to anyone at no charge, as follows: Mondays, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pioneer United Methodist Church, 209 E. Birch St., at the corner of Birch and Colville streets. Christian artist Adam Cappa to perform at fairgrounds

WALLA WALLA —Christian artist Adam Cappa and his band will perform live on the Pepsi Stage at the Walla Walla fairgrounds at 6 p.m. Friday.

The event, sponsored by Positive Life Radioand Walla Walla University, is free to all with the fair entrance fee.

Labor Day weekend retreat planned at Pataha Flour Mill

POMEROY — Pataha Flour Mill, 50 Hutchens Hill Road, will hold its fourth annual Labor Day weekend retreat Friday through Sunday. Participants will enjoy devotionals, music, meals, games, and fellowship throughout the days and may come for all or part.

The Mill Retreat House is available for overnight guests, and there is ample room for trailers and RV’s.

Grace Christian Center presents evangelism training

WALLA WALLA — Grace Christian Center, 49 Wallula Ave., Suite A, will present Tom Ruotolo, founder of for two days of “Love in Action” training in power evangelism.

The first meeting will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 and the second two will be at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 8.

For seven years, Ruotolo served with Randy Clark and Global Awakening as VP of International Ministries. He planned and led 39 trips to 12 countries. On most of these trips, Tom was involved in training pastors and teaching at renewal services.

In 2006, he worked with Clark to begin the Global School of Supernatural Ministry and also served as its Director for its first year.
