WALLA WALLA — Sgt. Bill White, who was placed on administrative leave in May, returned to the active duty roster yesterday, concluding a months-long investigation by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

“He was, in effect, returned back to full duty status the moment (his investigation) was adjudicated,” Sheriff John Turner said today.

Turner would not confirm whether White still faces disciplinary action as a result of the investigation.

“I’m not at liberty to discuss personnel matters,” Turner said.

So what your saying is Turner WASTED more of our taxpayer money on a "administrative leave" just to retaliate and now after all of Turners crying of being shorthanded puts him back to work? When will this end? He is not at liberty to discuss? Turner should be in soaps.

Turner needs to turn around & go back to when he made promises that this town would be better off...

Wow, takes Benton County forever to do an investigation. I'm glad Turner is doing a good job of being fair and impartial.
