Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • Shopko, 1651 West Rose Street. A 37-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting baby wipes, baby powder and lotion.
  • 600 block of Juniper Street. Prescription medications reported stolen.

WW County Sheriff

  • Sun Mart, 35 Apple Lane. Twenty packs of cigarettes, valued at more than $160, reported stolen from counter display.

MF Police

  • Our Daily Bread,311 South Main Street. Items from outdoor freezer.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 100 block of East Dayton Avenue. Bicycle reported stolen.
  • Lyons Ferry Marina, 102 Lyons Ferry Road, Starbuck. Jump starter reported stolen from boat.

Arrests

WW Police

  • Brent York, 43, no permanent address given, this morning. Charge: investigation of second degree burglary.

Vandalism

WW County Sheriff

  • 2600 block of Cottonwood Road. Two mailboxes kicked over.

MF Police

  • Blue Mountain Growers, 231 E. Broadway St. Graffiti on building.
  • 100 block of Catherine Avenue. Graffiti.
  • 300 block of North Main Street. Graffiti.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 200 block of East Main Street, Dayton. Skate park closed after being vandalized.
