WALLA WALLA — City resident Nancy Monacelli will be among the 145 delegates, alternates, committee members, pages and state party staff from Washington at the Democratic National Convention. Monacelli also served as a delegate at the county and state conventions.
She said her research indicates Walla Walla County’s most recent previous delegate to a DNC was Ada Kelly in 1948.
Monacelli, who works for a software company and along with her husband, Rich, and Norrie Gregoire and Keith Farrington play in the band Vintage, plans to post from the convention on Facebook at www.facebook.com/nancy.monacelli.1
