Tea, confections offered at Pataha Flour Mill Saturday


POMEROY — Pataha Flour Mill, 50 Hutchens Hill Road, will host its annual Christmas Tea and Confections at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Houser Room.

Pullman violinist Rick Grunewald and his wife, Nancy, a vocalist and Palouse pianist Caroline Germain will present a variety of favorite Christmas music. Carla Heytvelt of Pomeroy, will direct the event.

Carols sung by all will be accompanied by Juyne Bowles of Pomeroy, on the organ and Jon Van Vogt, Mill director, on the piano.

A wide variety of Christmas treats will be served, along with tea, coffee and traditional wassail.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted. On Dec. 15 the Mill’s annual “Christmas with the Sheriff (retired)” holiday sing-along, featuring Larry Bowles and his musical family will take place.
