Walla Walla County

Zachary A. Reisenauer, 21, Benton County, was sentenced Dec. 3 on one count fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation. The sentence included restitution of to be determined, $200 in court costs, $75.50 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, 364 days in the county jail with 334 days suspended, 30 days community service, 12 months probation. On Nov. 19 Reisenauer pleaded guilty by plea, agreeing that the court may review the police reports and/or a statement of probably cause supplied by the prosecutor to establish a factual basis for his plea.

Richard A. Caverly, 45, no address available, was sentenced Dec. 3 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fee, 15 months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, credit for 54 days served. On Nov. 19 Caverly pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing methamphetamine on or about Oct. 10.

Jose Ramos Jr., 29, 1111 Fishook Park Road, Prescott, was sentenced Dec. 3 on one count second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The court dismissed three other counts. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $119 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 each crime lab and biological fees, 120 days in the county jail, credit for two days served, 12 months community custody. On Sept. 9 Ramos pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and to having constructive possession of a firearm, having plead guilty to a felony case previously and without having his right restored, both on June 18.

Paul E. Cardeas, 50, 516 N. Division St. was sentenced Dec. 3 on one count second-degree theft. The sentence included restitution of $13.36, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 180 days in the county jail, credit for 73 days served. On Nov. 19 Cardenas pleaded guilty to stealing property from another that exceeded $750 but not exceeding $1,500 in value on Sept. 21.

JUVENILE CASES

Johnny Jimenez, 17, 1371 W. Pine St., was sentenced Nov. 30 on one count second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The sentence included 30-40 weeks in a Department of Social and Health Services facility, credit for 98 days served, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Nov. 16 Jimenez pleaded guilty to having a firearm in his possession while under age 18 and having previously been convicted of a felony.

Aleksander C. Padilla, 14, 54 Hussey St., was sentenced Nov. 30 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. The sentence included 24-32 weeks in a Department of Social and Health Services facility, credit for 64 days served, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Nov. 16 Padilla pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 27.

Stephan Cleveland, 25, 509 W. Alder St., was sentenced Nov. 30 on one count each fourth-degree assault — domestic violence and obstructing a law enforcement officer. The sentence included 52 weeks in a Department of Social and Health Services facility, credit for 57 days served, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Nov. 16 Cleveland pleaded guilty to under circumstances not amounting to assault in the first-, second-, third-degree or custodial assault, assaulted a family member and to willfully hindering, delaying or obstructing a law enforcement officer on Oct. 4.
