WALLA WALLA — Police today are seeking a kidnap suspect they believe is armed with a handgun.
Kyle R. Jamerson, 27, of 1020 Alvarado Terrace, Apt. C, is wanted for holding two women hostage early this morning at his apartment. Anyone who knows where he may be is urged to call 911 and not to approach him.
In a release, Walla Walla Police spokesman Tim Bennett said the crime was reported to police shortly after 6 a.m. today when the women came to a local hospital.
The women told officers they had been to Jamerson’s apartment last night. While there he became enraged and produced a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun and threatened them.
After some time had passed, one of the women became ill and they all went to the hospital. Jamerson, who still had possession of the shotgun, remained in the vehicle near the emergency room entrance and the women went inside where a call was made to 911. Officers arriving at the hospital found Jamerson’s unoccupied pickup and the shotgun.
Jamerson is described as approximately 6-feet,1-inch tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He has dark hair, a scar across his left cheek and “King” tattooed across the back of his neck. He may be driving an older Ford pickup or late 80’s to early 90’s blue Cadillac.
