PENDLETON — The annual Oregon East Symphony and Chorale Holiday Music Festival will be held 3:15 p.m. Dec. 9, in the Vert Auditorium, 500 S.W. Dorion Ave.
The concert will feature a variety of community choirs consisting of nearly 200 musicians from several community choirs.
The Oregon East Symphony Chorale, under the direction of Justin Raffa, Sherwood and McKay Children’s Choir directed by Cheryl Carlson, Pendleton Men’s Chorus under the direction of Bill Mayclin, and Sisters in Song directed by Lezlee Flagg, will delight the audience with diverse as well as traditional holiday music.
The vocal choirs will be joined by Christmas Bells Handbell Choir directed by Annette Matlock. Randy Thomas, accompanied by Sue Nelson will lead the “Carol Sing” between choir performances.
General admission tickets may be purchased at pre-concert discount rates of $12 adult, $7 seniors and students by visiting the OES Office at 345 S.W. Fourth St. (lower level of the Vert building) or at Armchair Books. Tickets will be available at the door for $15 adult and $10 seniors and students.
Holiday refreshments following the concert will be in the Vert Club Room.
