WALLA WALLA -- "Camino Real" a play by Tennessee Williams opens tonight, with curtain at 8 p.m., on the Alexander Stage at Harper Joy Theatre, Whitman College, 280 Boyer Ave.
When Kilroy, an American traveler and former boxer, accidently lands on the Camino Real, a surreal netherworld populated by famous figures from literature and history, he begins his struggle to flee its confines and change his destiny.
Performances are tonight, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with a Sunday matinée at 2 p.m.
