Democrats want tax increases as a first step in the fiscal cliff issue. Republicans want spending cuts as the first step.
If tax increases come first we solve nothing. Nationally, Democrats do not deal honestly with any spending cut issue.
Unfortunately, the vote in November might allow dishonesty to have its way.
