MILTON-FREEWATER - Police raided an underage drinking party in the 100 block of Northeast 15th Street early Sunday morning, citing nearly more than a dozen teens for possession of alcohol and an adult for allegedly supplying it.
According to Milton-Freewater Police Chief Doug Boedigheimer, police received a complaint about loud music and cars racing just before midnight.
When officers arrived, they found roughly 40 people attending a house party.
"It was a rather large (minor-in-possession) party," Boedigheimer said. "It took (officers) a couple of hours to parse that out."
Police cited roughly 13 teens for minor in possession of alcohol, a violation that carries a $260 fine.
Monica C. Nunez, 20, was cited for investigation of furnishing alcohol to minors, a class A misdemeanor that carries a mandatory fine of $6,250.
