Benefit dinner for Nate Griffith and family set for Saturday

MILTON-FREEWATER — A benefit dinner for Nate Griffith and his family will be held at the Milton-Freewater Elks Club from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday.

Proceeds will go to help pay medical expenses associated with cancer treatment. For $7 per person — tickets sold at the door — dinner will consist of chilli, a potato bar and desert. In addition, raffle tickets will be sold at the door for a Proto MAX helicopter from Tony’s Hobby and Video, a Nikon camera and more.

There will be a door prize, and two ball caps autographed by Scott Campbell of “The Deadliest Catch” TV show will be auctioned.

Donations can be made to the Nathan Griffith Medical Expense Account at the Baker Boyer Bank branches in Walla Walla and Milton-Freewater.
