Grape Line ticket fees rise as costs grow

Grape Line fares are going up.

A one-way trip from Walla Walla to Pasco is increasing from $10 to $15.

The new fare takes effect starting today, said Grape Line General Manager Kevin Oleson.

The cost of traveling between Walla Walla and the Tri-Cities has incrementally increased over the years. This is the biggest jump to date.

Grape Line offers three daily round trips through its partnership with the Washington State Department of Transportation and Greyhound. It runs seven days a week, except on major holidays such as Christmas.

One-way tickets from Walla Walla and College Place are also available to Touchet ($9); Wallula ($10); and Burbank ($14).
