Colton routs Pomeroy girls, 81-12

POMEROY — Colton came out hitting on all cylinders here Saturday in girls Southeast 1B basketball action.

The Wildcats hit 12 from behind the 3-point arc and shot 57 percent from the field to take home an 81-12 win over Pomeroy.

“They are great team,” Pirates coach Nettie Severs said. “We are outgunned at every position and we struggled against their pressure defense. They do everything well.”

Colton had three scorers in double digits. Torrie Koller hit the Pirates only trey of the night and Savannah Ruark led the Pirates with four points and four rebounds.

Pomeroy plays Dayton Thursday in a non-conference battle.
