WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla School Board will hold a public work session Tuesday to discuss its upcoming high school bond measure.
School board members will discuss whether potential excess funds from the Walla Walla High School bond proposal should be used for district facility improvement purposes or returned to taxpayers.
The work session is scheduled at 6 p.m. in the district’s board room, 364 S. Park St., and will be followed by the board’s regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The board is seeking a $48 million bond during a special election Feb. 12 to remodel and update Wa-Hi.
The regular board meeting will include a presentation by the Sharsptein Elementary School choir. Superintendent Mick Miller will also present a timeline and plan for studying facility needs at Lincoln High School.
Both meetings are open to the public.
