Melissa A. Wiegert, 36, complete address unavailable, was charged Dec. 17 with two counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of third-degree theft. Wiegert is accused of possessing methamphetamine, using drug paraphernalia, and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property belonging to Shopko on Dec. 14.
Bailey R. McDowell, 15, Richland was sentenced Dec. 14 on one count second-degree vehicle prowl. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for three days served, nine months community supervision, 25 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Dec. 14 McDowell pleaded guilty to, with intent to commit a crime against a person, entered a vehicle on Aug. 11.
Sheena Ayala, 13, 206 Garden Drive, was sentenced Dec. 14 on one count third-degree theft. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for six days served, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Nov. 30 Ayala pleaded guilty to taking merchandise with a value not exceeding $750 from Macy’s with intent to deprive the owner of the property.
