COLLEGE PLACE — College Place Presbyterian Church, 325 N.E. Damson Ave., will celebrate the ordination and the installation of the Rev. Doug Hayes as senior pastor at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Hayes was chosen by a vote of the congregation to replace the late Rev. Robin Peterson. Hayes has served as youth director at the church for the past 10 years.
Hayes is a graduate of Whitworth College in Spokane and of Walla Walla High School. He received his master’s of divinity in from Bethel Seminary.
