AUBURN, Wash. — Wa-Hi running back Jonah Hoe is among a handful of Eastern Washington football players taking part in the Tanoa Bowl at Memorial Stadium here Saturday.
The Tanoa Bowl is in its third year as a series of postseason all-star games made up of players from Washington, Oregon, Utah and Alaska.
Games begin at noon with junior high school players competing for the Tri-City Elite and Washington Warriors, featuring athletes from the east and west sides of Washington state.
Following that game, Team Oregon takes on Team Alaska, and then Hoe takes part in the Team Utah versus Team Washington main event.
