PENDLETON — Mac-Hi finished sixth out of 16 teams at the Free-Berry wrestling tournament in Pendleton Saturday.
Five out of Mac-Hi’s nine varsity wrestlers placed.
Brayden Moller (170) took a first place with a 4-0 record. “Brayden wrestled extremely well,” Mac-Hi coach Beau Chester said.
Jeffrey Jones (138) was 2-2 for a fourth place finish and Tavis Hodgen (145) grabbed sixth with a 3-2 match record.
Cole Sckramstad (120) took fifth place with a 3-1 record and Jesus Saldana (160) did the same.
“It was a tough draw for Cole and Jesus,” Chester said. “They lose their first match and then the best that they could do was fifth place.”
Mac-Hi wrestles again Friday and Saturday at the Joseph tournament.
