Pirate boys edge Rosalia in 2 OTs

ROSALIA - Mitch Ruckert scored 23 points and Riley Bott 19 as Pomeroy's boys edged Rosalia in double overtime, 80-76, Tuesday in Southeast 1B play.

Rosalia led the Pirates 35-24 at halftime, but Pomeroy used a 17-7 fourth-quarter rally to force overtime. Each squad scored nine points in the first overtime, but the Pirates gained the advantage in the second OT for the victory.

Pomeroy, 6-6 in SE1B play and 8-10 overall, hosts Touchet Friday and finishes the regular season at St. John-Endicott Saturday.
