outs and an injury ravaged the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights in their 43-33, Southeast 2B girls loss to Tri-Cities Prep Thursday night.

Megan Gregg, Amber Hellie, Kristi Buell and Emily Field all fouled out while Hannah Woolever aggravated a leg injury suffered earlier in the season, leaving the Knights (2-9 SE2B, 6-9 overall) with just two players to take the court over the final two minutes of the game.

"I'd never experienced it before," WWVA assistant Lloyd Redberg said of playing three girls short. "The two girls that were out there, they were pretty stoked. In two on five, you cant look to pass, you just have to go. We played some pretty good box defense when we had four, and pretty good triangle when we had three. You cant run any plays when you have just two players. You just have to laugh at it."

Kristi Buell led the Knights with 15 points before fouling out.
