"Why can a lovable and gentle soul be taken from us
so soon? Yet we are all comforted to know he is now at
peace from life."

Keith Alan Ringering was born April 10, 1960, in
Walla Walla, Washington, to Gerald "Jerry" and Marian
Ringering. He attended Davis, Sager, Garrison and
WaHi schools. He worked for Cascade Airways in the
late 1970s as the first detailer. Keith attended Walla Walla
Community College and received an Associate Degree
in Irrigation Technology and was hired by S K Farms
in Hermiston, Oregon. He later obtained an electricians
license in Seattle and worked in Seattle, Walla Walla, the
Tri-Cities and Wenatchee. Washington.

On November 4, 1979, he and Wendy McDaniels
were married. They had one daughter, Heidi Lynn. In
November, 1988, he married Suzie Fenno. They had a
daughter, Jillian Rene and son Justin Keith.
He will be remembered for his love of family and
how he treasured close friends. He loved music, singing
Karaoke, writing poetry, gardening, and especially
cooking. He made the best smoked fish ever. His family
will never forget his pranks and practical jokes. He
always saw the good in people and was gifted at being
able to get along with anyone.

Sky-diving was one of his favorite joys, becoming
certified June 26, 1993. He would call free-falling "the
thrill of victory". When his feet hit the ground, he would
have this radiant smile on his face and say "No worries -
what a rush". But fishing was his greatest passion. Keith
was a great outdoorsman, completely at one with nature.
It was there he found the comfort and silence his soul
yearned for. He was a master steelhead and salmon
slayer. There will never again be one better. A friend gave
him an Indian name "Any Water" because any water he
saw - he wanted to stop and fish.

Keith leaves his mother of College Place; father and
step-mother of Yakima; daughter, Heidi and her husband,
Adam Mitchell; and grandchildren: Katlin, Lauren,
Adam, Landen, and Ryan of Boise, Idaho; daughter,
Jillian and grandson Drake; son, Justin, of Walla Walla;
his brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Flora Ringering
and nephews, Scott of Walla Walla and Joshua of Seattle;
sister, Laura Soper and nephew Graysen of Kennewick;
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and those who shared
his life.

The memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday,
