Mac-Hi falls to Ontario

ONTARIO, Ore. - Pioneers Mihelle Ureno, Jolene Brannon and Cheyenne Kessler led Mac-Hi with four points each in a losing effort to Ontartio, 65-17, in Greater Oregon League girls basketball Saturday night.

Kessler led Mac-Hi with 15 rebounds while Victoria Correa scored the only 3-pointer for Mac-Hi.

"We came into Ontario with only four varsity players," Nicole Christian said. "We have a bunch of sick girls, but played really well with a pieced together team."

Mac-Hi is 0-7 in GOL play and 1-17 overall. They play La Grande at home Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
