Man arrested in burglary string in Dayton

DAYTON -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested Glenn Denison on Monday in connection with a series of Sunday burglaries.

The 43-year-old Dayton man allegedly broke into four businesses in downtown Dayton Sunday morning, stealing petty cash and knickknacks. McQuary's Grocery, a liquor store and the Columbia County Prosecuting Attorney's office were included in the spree.

The case has been forwarded to the office of Matt Newberg, Garfield County prosecuting attorney. Newberg said Denison will likely face charges of multiple counts of felony burglary, attempted burglary and malicious mischief.
