Presidents' Day was an American red, white and blue jeans morning for Andrew Feistner of Scout Troop #305 who braved the dark, just-above freezing morning shortly after 6am Monday to place US flags in their sidewalk holders along downtown sidewalks. Doing the pre-dawn footwork while most of Walla Walla was home, warm and asleep, Feistner was joined by a handful of Scouts and Am-Vets volunteers in the traditional banner display to recognize patriotic holidays.
