Todd Telander, Walla Walla artist and owner of Telander Art School, will open his latest exhibit, Ode Au Champignon, with a reception today from 4-6 p.m. in Brasserie Four, 4 E. Main St.
The exhibit is of the original illustrations from his newly published field guide, "Mushrooms."
Telander, who began his artistic career as a commercial illustrator of birds, has since focused on fine art and teaching as a profession but still makes time for illustrating. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
