Connie Britton, 53, lost her fight with cancer on Feb. 8, 2012, at her home with her family at her bedside. Born in Walla Walla, she attended grade, high school and Walla Walla Community College, receiving five degrees. She was a member of FFA, public speaking, 4H and former Pioneer Posse member. She married and divorced Dale Britton; they had two sons. She loved being a mother and grandmother and her little Aussie, Gracie. She worked at the Holiday Inn when cancer struck.

She is survived by her sons, Curtis of Snohomish and Christopher of Kennewick; mother, Dorothy Waldron; sister, Bonnie and Wayne Hamlin; brothers, Ron Wade of Portland, Sam and Linda Waldron; dear friend, Rex Smith; Aunt Mary of California; Uncle Tom of Seattle; Jim of Clarkston; five grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by step-father, Sam Waldron; and grandparents.
