Theft and vandalism reports were filed Saturday, Sunday and today unless otherwise noted.

Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 100 block of South Blue Street. A wool jacket and cell phone from car owned by Archie Reid.
  • 800 block of Washington Street. Donkey from Nativity display.
  • 200 block of East Cherry Street. Air intake for 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse owned by Joanne Dietz.

MF Police

  • 100 North Columbia Street. Business broken into, alcohol taken.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 400 block East Dayton Avenue. Possibly residential burglary.


WW Police

  • 716 Carrie Street, 8:12 p.m., Sunday. A 2005 Dodge Durango left the road and drove through a playground: No injuries or damage reported.
  • 1500 block Sunset Drive, 1:13 p.m., Saturday. Parked vehicle struck by an unknown vehicle.


WW Police

  • 1000 block of Alvarado Terrace. Car window broken.
  • 200 block of North Roosevelt Street. Roof dented and two windows smashed in car belonging to Ashley O'Neill.
  • 300 block of South Fourth Street. Car owned by John Hunot suffered smashed windows.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 1300 block of North Touchet Street. Two cabins vandalized.
