Registration now open for dog training clinic


WALLA WALLA - Registration is now open for a dog obedience clinic starting later this month.

Interested people need to sign up by Jan. 17. Class brochures and registration forms are available at the WSU Extension office, 328 W. Poplar St. or online at

Instructor Robin German will hold an introductory meeting at 6 p.m. on Jan. 19 to give a brief overview of the four-week course and discuss helpful training tips. Dogs should not be brought to this meeting.

Hands-on training sessions will be held on the following four Saturdays at the Lion's Clubhouse at Lion's Park, 801 Larch St., College Place. The one-hour training sessions will be held at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. each day.

There is a $20 nonrefundable fee per dog for the entire course. Participants must submit the registration form and class fee and provide proof of current vaccinations.
